Evaporators

The cooling agent that has been injected through the expansion valve evaporates in the evaporator due to heat conduction. Through this the air cools down.

The exchange of the heat energy from free air (vehicle interior room) and the cooling agent takes place at the evaporator.

The cooling agent in the evaporator needs heat energy to evaporate. The heat energy is extracted from the free air via the surface of the evaporator.
